In a historic vote, Chile is poised to join 30 other countries around the world where marriage equality is legal. This is significant momentum for Latin America because, with this recognition, Chile is pushing for LGBTQ equality throughout the entire region.
For that reason, it is an extraordinary opportunity to start a conversation to identify how your “global benefits” are helping to close gaps in countries where your company has a presence, and the law does not recognize same-sex couples. It can also be a way to start conversations with your colleagues in those countries to share your experiences and the processes in countries with marriage equality.
